Everyone told me that it tastes like watermelon, and let me tell you, it doesn’t. It’s more like a cross between a crab apple – small and sour like a crab apple – and a fluffy not dense apple. It wasn’t as sour as crab apples can be – it was just slightly sour, definitely bearable, and it tasted pretty good. I think it would make a great jam.
