Marvy, thank you for the compliment on my photos.

No, I'm not a part of the Photographic Society. It's something I might be interested in at some point, but it's not something I'm in a position to be involved with right now due to health problems, unfortunately.

We're in Nugegoda, just outside of Colombo. Close enough for shopping, but far enough out that we get wandering cows, monkeys, lizards, birds, and such. All of which I like to watch and photograph, of course. :)

How long were you in Sri Lanka and what brought you here? :)

Laurie...seems like you're a great photographer. Are you part of the Photographic Society of Sri Lanka that meets at the Lionel Wendt Center? You probably would win a lot of the monthly competitions there. I am still in touch with the group, so if you want an introduction to an officer, I will more than gladly do so. I was the head of the 49th International Photographic Exhibition then in 2005...my wonderful exit before returning back to the US. Am so missing a lot of friends back there. Are you in Colombo?
Take care and keep up the wonderful work with your blog site and writing career.
